Next Sunday, 24th August, from 2 pm to 5 pm, Drogheda Museum Millmount will present “Once Upon a Time”, a great day out for all the family.
Visitors can learn how people lived and worked in times past and take part in an afternoon of exploration and discovery.
Free tours of Drogheda Museum Millmount and Millmount Tower or visit the nearby town walls where Oliver Cromwell entered the town ....

Take in the creative writing workshop by Nicola Pierce, the best selling childrens’ novelist. This workshop will be suitable both for children and parents.
The famous Millmount cannons will be fired to start and end this great day. Watch how the cannon is prepared, loaded and fired.

The events will be held throughout Sunday afternoon from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and best news of all, everything is free.
There will be free car parking nearby in the St Mary's Parish Car Park in the Old Hill.
