The Towering of the Green

Old Drogheda Society
In line with many iconic buildings all over the world turning green to celebrate St Patrick's Day, the tower and mound at Millmount, Drogheda went green on Friday evening and will remain so until Wednesday 18th.
St Patrick would have passed by the 3,000 year on his way to the Hill of Slane having landed at the mouth of the Boyne in 432AD.

Drogheda Museum Millmount will open today 2pm - 5pm, Monday 16th 9.30am - 5.30pm and on St Patrick's Day 2pm - 5pm.
