“History in Modern
Ireland/Northern Ireland”

at St Columban's
College, Dalgan Park, Navan, Co. Meath
from 9.30-1.30pm
- What is the role of history in modern Irish/NI society,
particularly in this decade of centenaries?
- Does history inform us of our past and assist us in
charting our future decisions?
- How many of us truly understand the events leading up
to World War One and the 1916 Rising?
- What place does history have in the Irish/NI education
system?
The
seminar will take place on Saturday 13th September in St Columban's
College, Dalgan Park, Navan, Co. Meath, and will run from 9.30am to 1.30pm,
concluding with a light lunch.
All welcome.
