Walk & Talk
The Summer Series of the Old Drogheda Society's Walk & Talks continue today, Wednesday evening, July 5th, at 7.30 pm when Liam Reilly will lead a walk of the very interesting, William Street - King Street - Laurence Street area.
He will speak on the following subjects:
Wine Haller St - how it became William Street
Eamonn Campbell, one of Drogheda's best known musicians
Nano Reid's Studio, Church Lane and it's famous musicians
The Old Labour Exchange
Freeschool Lane
TK Whitaker
Paradise Place
Harpur House
The Tooting Tower
Presbyterian Church
The Bishop's Palace
St Laurence Gate
Featherbed Lane
Whitworth Hall
Drogheda Grammar School
The Franciscan Church
Kaysers Lane
Rosemary Lane
The walk departs from outside the Barbican Centre at 7.30 pm.
There is no set charge but small donations to the Old Drogheda Society will be accepted.
