The Annual Old Drogheda Society
President's Lunch (President Frank Gallagher) will be held on Sunday December
6th in the Boyne Valley Hotel at 1.00 pm sharp.
Guest speaker this year is Paddy Donnelly, a Drogheda man who served for 26 years as Killkenny County Manager.

Having commenced his career in the public service in 1956, he was Assistant Private Secretary to Neil Blaney and Private Secretary to Kevin Boland before being appointed Meath County Secretary in 1973.
He held the position of Temporary Meath County Manager for two years until his appointment as Kilkenny County Manager in 1976 until his retirement in 2002.
In
his time as County Manager, Kilkenny made great strides in establishing its
reputation as a heritage and tourism destination.
