There will be a Presentation to Grange Agricultural Centre on December 4th 2013 at 3:30pm, a Dunshaughlin & District Historical Society event in the Grange Research Centre near Trim.
Nigel Corbally Stourton will present a medal which was presented to his grandfather in 1817. Nigel will give a history of the times, the medal and the circumstances surrounding its presentation.
Work has just been completed on a new animal bio science building and some art work will be displayed and we plan to display the medal as part of this art work.
Dr Edward O Riordan the head of Grange will accept the medal from Nigel.
There will be refreshments before hand and the talk will follow at 4pm.
